Ian A. Lerner
Chief Executive Officer
Ian A. Lerner is our Chief Executive Officer and a co-founder of X-Digital Systems Inc., which merged with Pico Digital in 2010. Prior to founding X-Digital Systems, Ian was Executive Vice President and co-founder of StarGuide Digital Networks, a provider of satellite and Internet transmission and distribution systems for the radio industry. At StarGuide, Ian led business development efforts that expanded the company’s reach into Japan while securing business with the major networks across the U.S. radio industry. A registered co-holder of more than 15 U.S. and international patents, Ian earned degrees in Computer Engineering and Middle East Politics from University of California San Diego.

Carlos Shteremberg
Pico Digital’s President, Carlos Shteremberg, originally joined Pico Macom in 2002, where he had multiple sales, business development, project management, and operational responsibilities within the organization. In 2005, he was promoted to General Manager and Chief Operating Officer. As president, he has overseen the merger of X-Digital Systems, Pico Macom, and Standard Communications into Pico Digital and played a key role in repositioning the company as an international telecommunications technology company. Carlos earned his degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.

Andrew Isherwood
Chief Technical Officer
As our Chief Technical Officer, Andrew Isherwood is responsible for defining Pico Digital’s overall product strategy. Part of the Pico Digital team since 2013, Andrew has more than 15 years’ experience in developing CPE and headend products for cable, satellite, terrestrial and IPTV applications. His career history includes six years as Chief Technologist and then Chief Technical Engineer at Pace Networks, a business unit of Pace, where he was responsible for the full business life cycle from initial concept, through funding, prototyping and development to sales and deployment. Andrew holds a first class honors degree in Electronics with Computing from UCLAN and an MBA from the University of Bradford, School of Management.

Jose Rivero
Vice President Broadcast
Pico Digital’s Vice President of Broadcast, Jose Rivero leads our company’s Broadcast Radio segment, overseeing product and solution development of its industry leading XDS headend, receiver, and transaction management platforms. A co-founder of X-Digital Systems, Inc., Jose was the company’s Vice President of Network Technology/Business Development and served on its board of directors. Prior to X-Digital, Jose was Senior Director of Internet and Networking Technologies at StarGuide Digital Networks where he led development efforts in multimedia delivery through hybrid terrestrial and satellite networks. Jose holds various patents in the fields of satellite communications and data delivery and earned his Master’s degree in Computer Engineering at San Diego State University.

Brian Trexel
Vice President Engineering
As our Vice President of Engineering, Brian Trexel oversees Pico Digital’s engineering development teams. He has served as Director of Manufacturing Operations at CarrierComm, Director of Project Management at Entropic Communications, VP of Engineering at RF Magic, and VP of Engineering and Operations at Tiernan Communications. His considerable experience includes MPEG compression systems for broadcast distribution and satellite news gathering, global R&D, RFIC SOC, MOCA MCM, and microwave technologies. Brian holds a BSEE degree, a Master’s in Systems Science, and an EPSE entrepreneurial business program certificate, all from University of California, San Diego.

Anthony Tibbs
Chief Financial Officer
Anthony Tibbs joined our company as CFO in 2015. Prior to Pico Digital, he served as SVP of Finance at Daymon Worldwide, a global leader in consumer retail services. Anthony’s experience includes CFO and senior finance positions in a wide range of industries including telecommunications, healthcare, consumer credit, and construction. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of San Diego and his Master of Science in Accountancy and MBA degrees at the University of Phoenix. Anthony has also received executive leadership training at USC Marshall School of Business.
